The best type of training for elite athletes is called interval training. What that means is you train at 90% for a period of time, then rest, then push, then rest, then push, then rest until you want to puke or pass out.
It's literally the best training regime there is and gets you in world class shape, so by the time you have to perform the games seem easy in comparison.
That's similar to our release sprint schedule. This last release was the recovery between big pushes that bookend this release. A bunch of large items were pushed into production before this release and some big items are coming out in the next release.
This release was a "recovery" release, but like sports, it's active recovery which means work is still getting done. Below are the highlights.
- eBOL validation check has been included in the exception management module. What's really cool is the system will override whatever was manually inputted by the user and autocorrect based on what is on the eBOL
- 3rd party care package - we're not actually building the ability to send care packages to your customers (although that would be awesome) but you can now set carriers at defaults to regions and we've made enhancements to the carrier toggle view.
- Credit check functionality is now complete. We created a web service customers can connect to that will allow us to check credit inside the ERP before allowing the dispatcher to schedule loads
- Made some enhancements to the hauling table and forecasting functionality
