Tarick is an experienced product leader with expertise in developing hardware and software products across major corporations. Like TrueFill’s mission of delivering efficiency through software in the fuel industry, Tarick had dedicated his career to maximizing industry efficiency by always striving to understand the balance between technology and people. Today, Tarick serves as the Director of Product Management at TrueFill.
Prior to joining TrueFill, Tarick served as the Global Director of Product Management at Emerson where he led cross functional teams to launch the next generation of ultrasonic products which bolstered a double-digit Y-o-Y growth. Tarick’s approach to product development revolves primarily around teamwork due to his experience in project management. Prior to Emerson, Tarick served in the Project Management division at Clark Construction where he managed the construction of complex large-scale infrastructure projects in Washington DC.
Tarick’s philosophy on product management is shaped by his upbringing growing up on the island of Jamaica. He often states “my aim is to use my skills to effectively manage and motivate others to derive the BEST solution. No one is good at everything; however, evidence exists that there are ways to manage and mitigate bad outcomes from every task or decision. This approach is called disciplined, creative, and collaborative thinking.” Tarick holds a B.Sc in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and an MBA from Georgetown University.
